November 2025 Member Spotlight: Steve Westbrook

Meet Steve Westbrook, President of Highland Builders and a committed leader in the commercial construction community. With family roots in the industry, Steve has been surrounded by commercial real estate his entire life, making his transition into the field both natural and purposeful. In his role, he focuses on being an extension of his clients, working closely with them to understand their goals and helping bring their visions to life.

 Steve’s passion for commercial real estate stems from the satisfaction of seeing a project move from concept to completion. Watching an idea evolve into a finished space that clients can use and enjoy continues to inspire him. His work reflects a blend of craftsmanship, collaboration, and long-term partnership, all of which have defined Highland Builders’ reputation in the industry.

A dedicated NTCAR member, Steve stays involved to support the community and expand his company’s presence across North Texas. One of his most meaningful contributions has been being an annual NTCAR sponsor, an opportunity that allows Highland Builders to invest in the organization and connect with its members. He also enjoys the annual golf tournament, which is his favorite NTCAR event for the fun, networking and camaraderie it brings.

Outside of work, Steve spends his time outdoors, especially hunting and enjoying a variety of water sports. His advice for newcomers to commercial real estate is simple and effective: get involved in the community. For Steve, engagement is not just beneficial. It is essential to building relationships and creating meaningful career growth within the industry.  We are proud to have Steve as a part of our organization!
