How do I become a member of NTCAR?

Navigate to the JOIN page, fill out the appropriate application and return to our Membership Manager, Maria Larsen by emailing mlarsen@ntcar.org. If you have questions, please contact Maria directly through her email or calling 469-547-6552.

For what type of membership do I qualify?

All membership options are located under the Membership tab.

  • Realtor:

    • Realtor membership is available to those that hold an active real estate broker or salesperson license. If you are currently a member of another Realtor’s association, you can transfer your membership to NTCAR or become a secondary member with a valid Letter of Good Standing. If you are a salesperson applying for membership, please confirm that your broker is also a Realtor member of NTCAR. Please note: Agents whose brokers are Realtor members are required to join as Realtors. ***Note:  If you are a Broker and choose the Realtor option, all licensees sponsored by you will also have to join as a Realtor Association.***

  • Professional:

    • Professional membership is available to salespersons that would like to receive the local benefits of NTCAR without the affiliation to NAR or TAR.

  • Affiliate:

    • The affiliate membership is available to non-licensed service providers (construction companies, attorneys, interior design firms, signage companies, furniture suppliers, financial institutions, etc.) who would like to receive the local benefits of NTCAR without the affiliation to NAR or TAR.

Do I have to be a REALTOR® member?

Realtor membership is a requirement through NAR and TAR to those licensed brokers and salespersons whose Broker is also a Realtor member. We understand that membership can sometimes be confusing. Is membership by company or individual?

NTCAR membership is by individual only and is non-transferable. We do offer sponsorship discounts for members annually. Click here for more information.

How do I update my account information?

Fill out the account update form or contact our membership manager at mlarsen@ntcar.org.

What is the dues deadline?

Dues are payable on receipt. Membership dues are due by December 31st of the current year to maintain good standing for the following year. NTCAR dues are paid on an annual, calendar year basis.

Can I pay my membership dues over the phone?

Although we prefer you pay your dues within your account for security purposes, we are still happy to take payment over the phone by calling 214-638-5525.

How do I transfer my membership from Professional to REALTOR®?

Fill out the transfer membership form or contact our membership manager at mlarsen@ntcar.org.

How can I become more involved with the Young Professionals Forum?

Make sure you are signed up to receive the Young Professionals Forum emails by clicking the signup form below. Attending YPF networking and philanthropy events is a great way to increase your exposure to key industry leaders; enhance your real estate education; provide opportunities to make contacts through networking events and encourage social responsibility through civic involvement.

Realtors

How do I obtain my required CE hours for my REALTOR® membership?

NTCAR offers sponsored CE courses throughout the year. NTCAR also has partnered with the CE Shop to offer online education. Visit the TREC website to learn about required CE hours for your license.

Can I join the MLS through NTCAR?

NTCAR does not offer the MLS. You can access the MLS without joining another organization if you are a licensed REALTOR®. You may obtain access through the MLS by contacting your local residential association of realtors and providing a letter of good standing through NTCAR.

How do I access my forms?

Licensed REALTOR® members have access to Zipforms through Ziplogix. Professional NTCAR members have access to NTCAR forms through the WinAir software.

I need help with my Zipforms.

Contact ZipLogix support by visiting their website or calling 800-383-9805.

I need help with my WinAir forms.

For registration or technical support, contact WinAir at 866-972-2472.

My client needs to edit my NTCAR form but doesn’t want to pay for WinAir. Can I do this?

Yes! Your client will need to download the WinAir software for free, then modify the document with the watermark. Once the file is sent back to you, you can finalize the document then Complete to remove the watermark.
