March 2026 Member Spotlight: Rex Glendenning

Meet Rex Glendenning, Broker/Owner of REX Real Estate and 2025 Stemmons Service Award recipient, whose decades of experience have helped shape land development and investment across North Texas. Rex specializes in acquisitions, brokerage, construction and development, focusing on identifying high-impact projects and marketing properties throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area. He also works closely with developers and investors to secure legacy developments and strategic land acquisitions across the region, bringing both vision and expertise to every transaction.

Rex’s connection to land began long before his real estate career. Growing up on his family’s farm and ranch, he learned early from his father and grandfather about the lasting value of land and the opportunities it can create. That foundation led him to study Real Estate at the University of North Texas and pursue a career in land sales after graduation. After gaining valuable experience in the field, he founded REX Real Estate in 1987. Today, he continues to enjoy the strategy, negotiation and relationship-building required to assemble major projects and bring complex deals to life.

A dedicated member of NTCAR, Rex values the organization’s role in advancing industry standards and strengthening the commercial real estate community. He has become increasingly engaged over the years, developing a deep appreciation for the people and purpose behind the organization. Among his favorite events is the NTCAR Hall of Fame, where he enjoys seeing top brokers and developers recognized for their long-term contributions to the industry. Outside of work, Rex remains closely connected to his roots, spending much of his time managing ranch operations and caring for his Texas Longhorn cattle. His advice to those entering the industry reflects the principles that have guided his own career: work hard but smart, surround yourself with quality people and trust that excellence will rise to the top.
