August 2026 Member Spotlight: Mike Feather

Meet Mike Feather, Civil Project Manager at Kimley-Horn, where he leads nonresidential land development projects from concept to completion. Working across hospitality, industrial, office, retail, and land developments, Mike oversees every stage of the process, from due diligence and entitlements to design, permitting, and construction. His work helps transform ideas into successful developments that leave a lasting impact on communities throughout North Texas.

Mike's career in commercial real estate began on the civil engineering side of the industry, where he built strong, long-term partnerships with brokers, developers, and other industry leaders. Those relationships ultimately fueled his passion for commercial real estate and reinforced what he enjoys most about the business: the people. He values the opportunity to collaborate with professionals from across the industry while helping shape the built environment that people experience every day.

For Mike, NTCAR is all about the relationships. He appreciates the organization's ability to bring together professionals from every corner of commercial real estate, creating opportunities to learn, collaborate, and stay connected to the industry. His involvement with the Young Professionals Forum Core Committee has been especially meaningful, giving him the opportunity to contribute beyond networking and help create valuable experiences for other young professionals. One of his favorite NTCAR programs is the Up Close & Personal series, where smaller group discussions with industry leaders provide unique insights that are difficult to find elsewhere.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time on the golf course, cheering on the TCU Horned Frogs, and keeping up with his Australian Shepherd. His advice for those entering commercial real estate reflects the relationship-driven nature of the industry: focus on people first. We are proud to have Mike as a leader in our organization and can't wait to see what the future holds for him!
