Overview
A partial-day job shadowing that pairs college students with Dallas-area commercial real estate professionals.
Students and Industry Professionals will be paired with the intent of spending half a day (~4 hours) together as the student shadows the Industry Professional, learning about their job and the commercial real estate industry.
The day will begin with pairs attending a NTCAR Membership Meeting where students will have the opportunity to make additional connections within the commercial real estate industry and meet members of the NTCAR Young Professionals Forum.
Program open to rising juniors and seniors.
Pairing Process
Pairing will be based on compatibility between student’s indicated interests in their application and Industry Professional’s background. We will do our best to pair all applicants but cannot guarantee a match.
Student Commitment
Be prepared. Research your Industry Professional in advance of the shadowing day. Ask questions about the commercial real estate industry, your assigned Industry Professional’s role, how they got started, lessons learned, advice for getting started in the industry now, etc.
Attend the NTCAR Membership Meeting (complimentary), where you will meet your Industry Professional.
Attire: Students should dress in business-professional attire.
