Linda Simpson is Owner and Principal of Transitus Equity Solutions, LLC (“TES”). In this role, Ms. Simpson provides strategic leadership to ensure clients’ capital markets and investment objectives are met. Ms. Simpson is responsible for all facets of growing and executing TES’ unique business strategy. Having spent well over two decades primarily in the capital markets sector of the real estate industry, Ms. Simpson formed TES to better serve clients by providing a highly customized approach to accessing capital. Through its consultancy/advisory business, TES has been hired to assist clients with over $200 million in equity requirements within its first two years. This personalized approach has led to unique assignments such as:

  • Strategic repositioning and recapitalization of a portfolio of light industrial and flex properties and land holdings valued in excess of $150 million.

  • Design and implement a capital markets plan for a suburban office owner seeking to recapitalize/refinance its existing portfolio and double its holdings over a period of 18 to 24 months.

  • Create a market-driven analysis and business plan focused on distressed commercial real estate as part of a client’s $100 million fundraise.

Ms. Simpson is a tenured professional with broad experience gained through past leadership roles, especially in emerging platforms within existing companies. She provides comprehensive consulting services to owners and developers of commercial real estate designed to maximize portfolio value. During her career, Ms. Simpson has executed over $3.5 billion in note sale, asset sale and equity transactions as well as almost 700,000 sf of lease transactions.

Prior to forming TES, Ms. Simpson was responsible for Office and Industrial acquisitions in the Southwest for Westmount Realty Capital. She has also provided senior leadership to investments services and capital markets platforms at C-III Capital Partners/NAI Global, JLL, HFF LP and Trammell Crow Co. and Agency Leasing services at Transwestern.

Ms. Simpson holds a BA from Stephens College, Columbia, MO. She has served on the Board of Directors for CREW Dallas and is an active member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and ICSC.
